Community Pharmacy Patient Questionnaire

The requirements for the Community Pharmacy Patient Questionnaire (CPPQ) have been published by the PSNC and the Department of Health. The survey forms part of the clinical governance element of the new contract.

Although community pharmacy contractors have until the end of March 2008 to undertake this obligation, time will quickly pass and it would be wise to plan early. Remember a survey can take 6-8 weeks to complete from order to handing out the forms through to processing and reviewing the results. So if you want to miss the busy Christmas period and not end up against a deadline early in the New Year, contractors should really start thinking about conducting their survey during the middle of 2007.
